He married (first), in February, 1732, Hannah Ball, of Watertown, born December 25, 1700, eldest child of John and Bethiah (Meddup) Ball. He had a second wife, Sarah, who appears to have been the mother of all his children, namely: Elijah, mentioned below; Isaac, born June 9, 1738; Mary, 1739; Solomon, May 3, 1742: Samuel, April 23. 1744.
