Mary Jane Ewer, third wife of James Palmer was born April 30th, 1847, at Banbuy, Oxfordshire, England. She is the daughter of John and Hannah Taylor Weaver. She became the plural wife of James Palmer according to the order of Celestial marriage, the marriage rites being performed in the Endowment House by Pres. Wilford Woodruff, Aug. 10, 1867. Her children are as follows:
Henry, born July 12th, 1869, at Dell Ranch, Skull Valley, Quincy Precinct, Utah, died Sept. 14th, 1887.
Alonzo, born Dec. 30th, 1870, blessed and named Jan. 4th, and died Jan. 28th, 1871 at Palmer?s Ranch.
Hannah, born January l3th, 1872, at Salt Lake City, Utah.
Joseph, born Feb. 12th, 1874, at Palmer?s Ranch, Quincy Precinct, Tooele Co.
Levi, born Mar. 4th, 1876, at Palmer?s Ranch, Quincy Precinct.
